USAFPatches.com is a privately run, publicly accessible website featuring an interactive forum, chat and a gallery. Portions of the website are restricted to registered users. Registration is easy and FREE, but is a privilege and not a right. In order to promote a friendly environment, the following guidelines have been developed for registered users of this website.
1. This agreement applies to all areas of USAFPatches.com that require a user to log-in to include the forums, chat and the gallery unless otherwise specified. Specific details about personal information collected and how it is used by USAFPatches.com is covered in the site's Privacy Policy. By registering with this website, you agree to abide by the terms of this agreement. If at any time you wish to terminate your user account, you may do so by viewing your Forum Profile and selecting the "Delete this Account" option. Failure to abide by the terms and conditions listed below may result in actions up to and including the suspension or removal of your user account with or without prior notice.
2. The Webmaster reserves the right to delete, move, replace or edit ANY chat, message post or image at any time with or without prior notice. The Webmaster also reserves the right to terminate a user's account at any time with or without prior notice.
3. Upon registration, you have the ability choose your user name. The user name must be appropriate for all audiences. You agree NEVER to use another person's account for any reason. The Webmaster HIGHLY recommends you use a complex and unique password for your account to prevent account theft. After you register and login, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the Webmaster determines to be inaccurate or vulgar will be removed, with or without prior notice. Additionally, you agree not to misrepresent your identity to the Webmaster or other registered users at any time. Registered user accounts in which a user has not logged-in for at least 30 days may be deleted without prior notice.
4. All chat, gallery and forum message post must be in English. You agree, by registering, that you will not post or use the website to exchange any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy (to include posting of personal information such as addresses and phone numbers without an individual's consent), adult material or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post copyrighted material (unless you hold the copyright or have written consent from copyright holder), classified or other material not-cleared for public release. Additionally, speculation about classified or potentially classified programs, political or religious discussions, spam, flooding, advertisements (except in appropriately designated areas), chain letters, pyramid schemes and solicitations are also forbidden.
5. In addition to these general terms and conditions, you agree to abide by specific instructions and/or rules posted in the chat rooms, forums and gallery.
6. All forum message posts must be of or concerning United States Air Force patches or certain related topics to include emblems, zaps/stickers, uniforms as they pertain to patches, USAF unit information and publications that can be used as reference material for USAF patch collecting. Posts concerning scarves, nametags, wings, badges, rank insignia or non-USAF patches are prohibited and will be deleted without prior notice.
7. You remain solely responsible for the content of your message posts. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Webmaster. The Webmaster also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.
8. Note that it is impossible for the Webmaster to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that the Webmaster may not routinely monitor posted messages, and as such, is not responsible for the content contained within. The Webmaster does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of the Webmaster. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify the Webmaster immediately. The Webmaster reserves the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if he determines that removal is necessary. Please realize that the Webmaster may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.
9. When posting a message to the forum, you agree to verify that the information does not already exist elsewhere on USAFPatches.com by using the search function provided on this site. You also agree to post messages to the appropriate forum. If you are unsure of where to post, please contact the Webmaster BEFORE posting. When posting replies, you agree to stay on topic or create a new topic where appropriate.
10. All gallery image posts must be of U.S. Air Force patches. Image(s) may only be uploaded to the gallery by registered users. By uploading image(s) you certify that they are of patch(es) in your own personal collection and were not obtained from another individual, group and/or website. You also give full unconditional rights to the Webmaster to display the image(s) on USAFPatches.com with appropriate credit. The Webmaster will not redistribute your image(s) without your consent.
11. You agree not to upload images of patches already appearing in the gallery (variations of patches appearing in the gallery are acceptable). You also agree to follow specific instructions on how to format information presented in the gallery. Please be aware that uploaded images may take up to one (1) month to appear in the gallery. The Webmaster may replace or remove any image at any time with or without prior notice.
12. Failure to follow terms and conditions in paragraphs 10 and 11 may result in your image post being disapproved, with or without prior notice.
13. Chat is intended as a free-flowing arena for the discussion of U.S. Air Force patches between registered users. Other topics may be discussed except for those items already mentioned in paragraph 4. Images or other files exchanged between users likewise will not violate the terms of paragraph 4.
