Gallery

Welcome to the USAFpatches.com Gallery, the centerpiece of this website featuring 25,000+ embroidered, leather, PVC and silk-screened patches patches representing organizations, exercises, competitions, classes, weapon systems, and installations from the USAF and its predecessor organizations. While the Gallery is one of the most comprehensive compilations of U.S. Air Force patches available, it is by no means complete. The patches pictured are only a small percentage of the U.S. Air Force patches that exist. Gallery images come from the Webmaster’s or visitor’s personal collections. For more information on the gallery, please go the Gallery Overview.

DONATIONS OF ACTUAL PATCHES ARE ACCEPTED AND APPRECIATED, PLEASE VISIT THE DONATION PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

National Reconnaissance Office Launch-082
Delta IV-Heavy Space Launch Vehicle launched from Space Launch Complex-6 on 26 April 2021 carrying a classified payload.

Translation: TACITAE LIBERTATIS CUSTODEMQUE [Latin] = Silent Guardians of Freedom

Official Description: "The NROL-82 mission patch was designed to commemorate the many heroic acts & sacrifices made to protect our way of life. The NROL-82 logo depicts an eagle, America’s symbol of freedom, wearing the traditional flight gear of a WWII Fighter Ace, specifically Gregory “Pappy” Boyington. In the background you will find an F4U Corsair, Boyington’s aircraft, & the three stars on the patch honor those who have served, are serving, or will serve to preserve America’s way of life. The Latin phrase, TACITAE LIBERTATIS CUSTODEMQUE, ties the logo together in its translation: Silent Guardians of Freedom."
